You can use these rings for either punch-hole type, but you cannot use Arc/Levenger rings on this paper. I have incorporated two other methods of using the cipher along with a method of my own to further encrypt information making it nearly impossible to decode what is written. It’s totally understandable, but for someone that’s looking to use the bullet journal system of note taking for work, the lack of resources really doesn’t help. I have the TUL hole punch and use it to punch holes for pages to fit in my Staples Arc, Martha Stewart, and Happy Planner discbound notebooks.

When 2019 ends, I’ll probably remove all the 2019 inserts from my planner, add in some dot grid pages and use it as a general notebook. My setup does change from time to time to accommodate new projects, changes to company processes and personal habits. For those who prefer the traditional Filofax six-ring binding, Filofax also sells the “Clipbook,” a similar product with a flexible structure but only 80gsm paper, which won’t work as well for my own personal use.

This allows you to save space in the notebook, but more importantly it helps you stay organized and only keep the information that you need. Brand really doesn’t matter, but since you are going to be using this notebook in a business environment, you will want to make sure that it fits into your company culture. I started with Franklin planner systems but once I realized their pages didn’t really suit me, I started to make my own. Again, I have set up my Discbound to work for me within the needs I have during any given business day.

That garbage starts to show your thought patterns and, over time, will start to change your life as you deal with that garbage by changing habits and behaviors. I use these rulers because they stand up off the page a bit and tend not to make the ink bleed or seep under the ruler. There may be even better methods of tracking tasks in a discbound notebook, but this is the one that makes the most sense to me.You may have certain needs for these pages, but generally you could just use a grid or dot grid page and create your own special use pages.
